Death Game is an early 70s exploitation film dressed as a feminist psycho thriller. Made in 1974 but not released for several years, which is testament that MGM did not know what to do with it.
Sondra Locke and Colleen Camp chew the scenery as the protagonists, terrorising, murdering and torturing in this overlooked home invasion gem. They have never been as unhinged or given free rein to take it to its very limit. A forgotten gem, in my opinion.
Unsuccessfully remade by Eli Roth as Knock Knock, with Keanu Reeves as the put-upon victim, and with both Locke and Camp on board as producers.
