Hands of Steel, from 1986, stars Daniel Greene as an assassin cyborg with a conscience who finds himself on the wrong end of John Saxon’s corporate hitman and arm-wrestling truck driver Raul. Lots of muscle on show, and plenty of punch-ups and bloody disposing of crash-helmeted henchmen.
Both films are bookmarks in the history of Italian exploitation cinema, freely borrowing not just from the big studio films but also from Castellari’s Bronx Warriors and The New Barbarians.
