School for Sex is produced, written and directed by the British legend of exploitation, Pete Walker. The cast includes Nosher Powell, who was more of a stuntman than an actor, as this film highlights.
The plot involves Lord Wingate, recently out of prison for fraud after being fleeced for his money by several wives, setting up a “finishing school” to train young women to become gold diggers. That is really all there is to it.
Not the best sexploitation offering, and Walker himself regretted saving money by writing the script himself. He called it his worst film, referring to it in 2005 as “terrible”. Not up to the standards of Cool It Carol or The Playbirds, more on a par with Michael Armstrong’s penned Eskimo Nell, which certainly ranks at the bottom of this uniquely British genre.
